Understanding principles of child development and learning (3 Hours)

This three-hour online course is intended to provide you with a general overview of the Montana Early Learning Standards, as well as exploring multiple ways to utilize them. It will provide you with a hands-on learning experience that will support your knowledge and skill in using the components in your everyday work with children. The MELS is a document that can be used in a variety of ways as a resource to the early childhood professional in their goal to support the growth and development of young children.

We are currently offering two sections of the course. Participants whose last names begin with A-K, please enroll in Section 1. Participants whose last names begin with L-Z, please enroll in Section 2.

You must leave at least 3 (more is preferred) business days (excluding holidays and weekends) during your enrollment for instructors to grade your work. Instructors cannot grade any coursework when you are no longer enrolled in the course.
