Montana’s Best Beginnings STARS to Quality Program builds upon the foundation of the state’s child care licensing and provides an opportunity for child care programs to demonstrate achievements that exceed licensing requirements.
STARS to Quality is currently in a redesign phase and is not currently accepting new applications. The rebuilt Quality Recognition System (QRS) has a projected launch date of October 1, 2025. These trainings continue to be free and accessible for providers and staff who live in the state of Montana.
