This two hour course is designed to help you gain a better understanding of infection control to keep yourself, your staff and the children in your care safe from germs that invade your child care setting. You will learn how to reduce the rate of illness among children and staff, and learn the practical application of basic infection control.

The first hour is devoted to infection control basics. During the second hour of the course we will discuss the importance of immunizations (shots) for both children and staff and the diseases they help protect us from. Lastly the required immunizations for children and staff will be discussed.
