How children learn is as important as what they learn. Learning approaches, often described as learning dispositions, refers to the different ways children engage in classroom interactions and learning activities. Learning approaches develop alongside and in conjunction with children’s acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes and understandings. This course provides information and teaching strategies that nurture and support children’s five key learning approaches during the first five years: initiative, persistence, resilience, curiosity and cooperation.
*Fully Automated: These classes do not offer feedback from an instructor unless you complete the extra credit activity. They are graded automatically and your certificate is available immediately upon the course being successfully completed.
