Participants will gain a better understanding of factors that are necessary for effective play and learning environments. They will learn factors to consider when planning the dramatic play, literary, art, fine motor, large motor and discovery/science areas in early childhood settings. Participants will develop an understanding of the impact of auditory, visual, and tactile stimulation on learning, play, and interactions in the early childhood settings, as well as modifications settings can implement to enhance learning and play.
