This training provides an overview of trauma-informed care (TIC), exploring its definition, challenges, and practical implementation based on SAMHSA guidelines. Participants will learn to distinguish between traumatic exposure and stress while exploring both common and uncommon psychological responses to trauma. Though primarily focused on Family Child Care settings, the valuable insights and strategies offered can be effectively utilized across all program types.
*Fully Automated: These classes do not offer feedback from an instructor. They are graded automatically and your certificate is available immediately upon the course being successfully completed. Once your enrollment period ends, completions can be found on your ECP account.
We recommend that all coursework be done on a laptop or desktop computer to avoid technical issues with visual discrepancies, lack of content, etc.
