This course will guide you through understanding what the Pyramid Model looks like in the context of family childcare homes and the practices providers can use to implement pyramid model practices with the children and families they serve.
In this module, we will cover an overview of the Pyramid Model in Family Childcare Homes to establish a foundation of knowledge and understanding before exploring the practices in detail. We will orient you to the Pyramid Model framework and the role of relationships as universal practices to support children's social-emotional development and connections with families. We will unpack relationship building strategies and dive a little deeper into nurturing and responsive relationships to give you the insights you need to know what to do to implement this into your practice as a family childcare provider.
