This course will provide participants with a foundational understanding of the Environment Rating Scales (ERS) used to educate the early childhood workforce on best practices and assess quality of care in early childhood programs. Participants will receive an overview of the history and development of these tools, as well as information on which specific tool applies to their programs or classrooms. Additionally, participants will learn how the ERS tools can enhance the quality of the childcare environment for both children and staff.
