The is course begins by defining how intentionality is applied to children’s learning outcomes as well as exploring how early childhood theories support intentional teaching practices. The course also explains how to apply intentionality to the early childhood environment as well as exploring the teacher’s role in intentional teaching practices. Finally, the course takes a close look at the link between play and intentional teaching, the connection between intentionality and learning domains, and ways you can apply intentional teaching practices to infant-toddler learning.
