This course explores methods for supporting communication skills, and expressive and receptive language skills in infants and toddlers. Strategies for building rich and varied vocabularies within the context of responsive relationships with nurturing caregivers are emphasized. Approaches to partnering with families when there is a concern for development are discussed.
