How often do you take the children in your care on trips away from your facility?
You may be nervous about leaving the fenced yard - don’t be! Walks around the block, visits to neighborhood sites of interest, and age-appropriate nature adventures are great ways to enhance your program. In this course, we will explore the many reasons why field trips really should be part of a high-quality program for young children. We’ll identify a wide variety of possible destinations. Finally, we’ll cover important how-to’s for keeping children safe and the trip enjoyable for everyone.
