This course shares ways to plan for and enhance block play in the early childhood environment. Information includes the stages of block play, developmental skills addressed through block play, and how to build interest in block play. Finally, the course shares ways to assess block play, set guidelines to manage block play, and strategies to inform families of the importance of block play in early childhood.
