- How Boys and Girls Learn Differently
This course is only for Montana child care providers.
Students learn about play, bonding, and developmental patterns that impact daily interactions from a brain-based perspective. Students further discover ways to turnaround boys’ higher failure rates in ECE. For example, male physicality is reframed to be understood, managed, and utilized in positive ways, as an asset in resilient building, rather than as a demerit. The pre-school-to-prison pipeline is understood at a deep level, and equity revitalized via the gender lens.
Disclaimer: This class includes research based scientific information which may be controversial. The intent of the information is not to rigidly stereotype a child, but to use it to expand empathy and understanding of all genders.
*Fully Automated: These classes do not offer feedback from an instructor unless you complete the extra credit activity. They are graded automatically and your certificate is available immediately upon the course being successfully completed.
