This course provides education on creating asthma friendly childcare facilities and supporting Montana children to better self-manage their asthma. Participants will learn the basic biology and physical impacts of asthma, along with how asthma impacts communities in Montana. Through interactive modules and informative videos, childcare professionals will be taught strategies for creating a healthy and safe childcare environment for children with asthma.

** All participants must complete The American Lung Association's Asthma Basics course and upload the completion certificate. Prior to accessing the Asthma Basics, the ALA will ask you to sign up for a free learning account.

*Fully Automated: These classes do not offer feedback from an instructor unless you complete the extra credit activity. They are graded automatically and your certificate is available immediately upon the course being successfully completed.
