This course explores child development theories, linking them to practices in the field. The course takes a look at developmental questions that guide theories, as well as some of the major theorists in the field. The course also explores how early childhood educators can link early childhood theories to environmental and teaching practices as well as how early childhood theories have shaped current curriculum approaches.
