Your Inventory for Keeping Everyone Safe is a Planning Guide for Emergency Response Planning in Child Care. This course will walk you through all the steps to prepare for an emergency including your relocation plan, shelter in place plan and evacuation plan and create an emergency go kit. This beginning level course.

Two resources are required for completion of this course:

• YIKES (Your Inventory for Keeping Everyone Safe) Planning Guide: This publication was created by the State of Maine and adapted as Montana's primary resource of Emergency Preparedness in child care. The YIKES Planning Guide is included as a printable resource in this course.

• YIKES Emergency Response: This resource is to be used in case of an emergency. If you do not have this handy flip guide you may download a copy found in this class's resource folder.

  This handy packet provides information and a place to store all your planning documentation together. It is bright orange color, making it simple to find; and its compact nature allows for easy transport.
