Who Are We?
Why do we feel that our training understands your needs and appreciates your schedule? We developed ChildCareTraining.org as a natural expansion of our services at Child Care Resources in Missoula, Montana. Child Care Resources is a leader in early childhood care and education. We promote high quality, accessible services to support and strengthen children, families, professionals and communities. We have been working to improve access to and the quality of child care in southwestern Montana since 1969. We are the child care experts.
In 2009, Child Care Resources celebrates 40 years of service to our community. We believe a strong early childhood lasts a lifetime, and we are committed to strengthening early childhoods for the next 40 years.
Child Care Resources is a member of the Montana Child Care Resource and Referral Network and the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral agencies. Child Care Resources is also a member of the National Child Care Food Program Sponsor's Forum and the Montana Sponsor's Network.
Child Care Training That Keeps Up With You
What do we mean when we say that our training "keeps up with you?" We know your lives are busy, even hectic. We know early childhood professionals and child care providers have little time and energy left at the end of the day to drive to and attend classroom training. In 2002, we decided to do something proactive to help you, so we created ChildCareTraining.org.
We gathered a group of local providers, educators and web developers to devise a way for you to get high-quality training when and where it would be most convenient for you. We contracted with the best and brightest in our area to help us write and develop several online courses that cover issues that are most relevant and useful for child care professionals today.
We also understand that while the web offers an amazing opportunity for busy child care professionals to keep abreast of the latest training, it is essential for participants to maintain a connection with real people on our end. Therefore our courses ask participants to apply what they learn to their child care environments and submit their results to our instructors. Our instructors give individualized feedback to each and every person. In this way, we assure we don't lose that vital human connection.
Now, seven years after its inception, we are proud to bring you a new and improved ChildCareTraining.org that offers an even better learning experience.
