ChildCareTraining.org Policies Students should thoroughly read through these policies before completing a course on ChildCareTraining.org. INDIVIDUAL LEARNING POLICY ChildCareTraining.org is designed to help early childhood professionals advance their professional development through distance learning opportunities. ChildCareTraining.org reserves the right to refuse a student credit if it is believed that the student did not complete his or her own work. While it is acceptable for students to discuss the course content materials in teams or groups, the quizzes and activities are designed to be completed on an INDIVIDUAL basis, sharing the student’s unique thoughts and experiences. The purpose of the course activities is to demonstrate to the instructor that the student understands the material and has applied the concepts to their own professional practice. Even if students are enrolled in the same course and work together at the same child care facility, training experience reveals that each student will have different learning experiences than their peers. ChildCareTraining.org will not give credit if it is clear that the student did not complete the required work individually. If ChildCareTraining.org believes that a student did not complete the learning activities on their own, or a student submitted similar or identical answers as another student, we will request that the student’s activity responses be resubmitted to demonstrate individual learning. In the resubmission, the student must provide new, individualized answers. If the student resubmits satisfactory answers, credit will be awarded for the course. ONLINE SUBMISSION POLICY All ChildCareTraining.org course materials must be completed online. Students may choose to print the course content materials for ease in reading (see how in the FAQs) . However, students must complete the quizzes and activities and submit them online. Instructors will not accept faxed or emailed responses. If you are having trouble submitting an activity, please look through our Site Tutorial for detailed instructions. Or, you may submit a Trouble Ticket for individualized assistance. REFUND POLICY ChildCareTraining.org incurs technology expenses for each course registrant. Additionally, there are costs associated with refunding credit card payments or writing checks. As this site is operated by a non-profit organization, it is not possible to absorb these expenses. Once a student has enrolled in and paid for a course, if the student has not begun the course and would like to cancel within 30 days from the registration date, ChildCareTraining.org will refund half of the course price by crediting back the credit card or, in instances where the participant has paid by check, sending them a check once their check has cleared the bank. If a student has completed any work in the course, does not pass the course, has been enrolled in the course for more than 30 days, or any other circumstances, the course registration fee will not be refunded. ChildCareTraning.org strongly advises potential students to view the Sample Course to ensure that this is the type of training best suited to her or his learning style and needs. Should you desire a refund before beginning the course within 30 days of registration or have any questions, please contact us at cct@childcareresources.org. CHECK CASHING POLICY Our check cashing policy states that once ChildCareTraining.org receives a student's payment in the mail, we allow five business days for the check to clear the bank before the student is officially enrolled in the course. After five business days, the student will promptly be added to the course. The student will then receive an email notification when they have been added to the course. Students should send their check payment for the exact amount payable to Child Care Resources at 127 East Main, Suite 314, Missoula, Montana, 59802. Please indicate what course the payment is for and the user account information. | Skip Stay Connected Stay Connected/font>
